Why do I coach?
The most challenging time of my life was when I was in my late teens and early twenties. At that time I was expected to choose a career path but I was also facing some unexpected personal issues, including traumatic grief. Looking back I see that I was not equipped to make such a huge life decision.
I remember feeling overwhelmed and eventually I decided to up and leave everything I knew. I went abroad and ended up living and teaching overseas for over 15 years, across 11 countries and 3 continents. While these experiences enriched my life, when I look back now I see that I was stuck… even though I kept on moving. I was stuck because I kept thinking that happiness and fulfillment were just around the corner in the next country I was travelling too. I wanted change, so I changed the country I lived in. However, it was only when I started working on myself that everything really did change.
I know now that had I been equipped with the right resources at a young age, those big life decisions would have been a lot easier. Now that I have gained those resources, I would like to help other people gain them too. It is my sincere hope that my experience can help other young people to avoid the pitfalls that I encountered and feel fulfilled and happy NOW, not in 15 years. I also learned how important happy healthy families are and what role they play in well being. I want to help families feel connected, healthy and happy so that all family members can overcome their challenges.
If you are looking for change for yourself, your family or a family member, life coaching can help. Remember that change starts within us and with the belief that you can take that big leap of faith.
My coaching program, can be a preventative tool that helps avoid costly and painful life mistakes. Nava can help give you the tools and techniques to:
Raise your self-awareness to what really matters to you.
Increase your self-confidence so you have the courage to do whatever you want to do.
Build your self-resilience so you keep going when things get tough.
My journey was long and difficult but I feel grateful that I found the fulfillment I was looking for. I have learned so much, not from watching or talking but from experiencing and feeling. I understand and have overcome my personal life challenges and now I would like to use those skills to help this community.

How will you know if I'm the right coach for you?
A great life coach will allow you to be yourself and feel comfortable talking about any topic. Having a good working alliance or bond is key to getting the most out of this process. Therefore you should choose someone who aligns with your values and has some common shared experiences so that you will feel understood and at ease.
As your certified family life coach, I’m here to help every step of the way. I accept you as you are, and I’m sincerely looking forward to seeing who you become.

Why try it?
Because you have grit, even if you don’t know it yet.
